Yes! 🍔🍔
No there isn't. If you want a veggie burger try the place across the street.
We ate here twice last week! The burgers - especially the buns- were way good. I think a good bun makes a burger 100% times better. We also came back for ice cream and the soft serve hit the spot!
Burgers, fries and shakes were all awesome! Also met the owner who was really nice and helpful! Also had outdoor dining too, which was great.
Great staff. Good is good especially since you have no real other option around here
Great hamburgers. Awesome homemade buns. Fast service. Close to Coral Reef National Park. You can eat inside or outside. Can’t wait to come back and try the cobbler and ice cream.
Super tasty burgers and fries. The all American burger is huge, and you will need lots of napkins haha!
We only had burgers and they were fantastic. One of my daughters couldn't stop talking about how good her's was. Kids meal burger is very filling. Minus one star for not including our fry sauce.
Best green chili burger in town. definitely will come back to this place. Delicious food and fast service.
This place has the most amazing deep fried green beans in the world! Absolutely love the food here!
Great local burger and ice cream joint! Friendly staff! It was busy but didn’t feel too bad Of a wait. Dine-in was closed and so the line extended outside. Suggestion for the owners would be to have more menus along the windows to help people decide their orders more easily before getting to the order window.
We stopped here after a day at Capitol Reef. Often times these small burger places are great and the reviews made us believe Slackers would be too. In reality, the shakes were good and that was it. The beef was rubbery and definitely not grilled. Not sure how it was prepared, but microwaved or boiled would unfortunately probably be the case. This place has the blessing of being one of few options. Any average fast food joint would have a better burger.
The lowest review I can give. Was driving through and attempted to use online ordering to save time. Said they were open on a Monday. They were not andtook my money without any service provided. Guess I dontated to their day off. Don't use online ordering for them.
Decent stop over for a quick fast food bite. The menu is mostly burgers but they also have some sandwiches and salads. You order up at the window and they bring the food to you. Food came quickly and was pretty tasty.
Drawn by the high ratings which now has me stumped. The quality of the food was school cafeteria level. The halibut burger consisted of a mystery meat patty and was pretty disgusting. The interior was quirky and interesting and the service was nice, but I can't come back after getting the "halibut" burger.
I had a regular cheeseburger and it was quite literally the best cheeseburger I have ever had. The meat was fresh and we were told it was grass fed beef that was raised right there in the area. The veggies were very fresh also, no limp lettuce on this burger(I hate that, don't you?). I would definitely recommend Slackers if you are going to be in Torry to go see Capitol Reef National Park.
Good, efficient service and food. Garden seating because of the pandemic, but lots of shade and clean tables.
This little mom and pop shop was a fun and tasty place to visit. We enjoyed this place so much we went here for dinner two nights in a row. The service consisted of a few young ladies who were the best. Love that the owners are instilling their work ethics into the younger generations of those working for them. The only issue we had were there were too many dessert options to choose from! Hah, everything we did order tasted great!
Didn't grab any food, but the ice cream was delicious! I got the double scoop of huckleberry and strawberry and would recommend both. My boyfriend got cinnamon ice cream and it was incredibly rich and yummy! Staff was friendly during the lunch rush too.
The food was decent. The price was high! $85 dollars for a family of 6 is pretty expensive. Charging extra for fry sauce, an extra dollar for whip cream on my shakes and an extra $3 for onion rings is probably where they got me...wish I would have realized it sooner!
Juicy burgers on a delicious toasted bun. I will be back.
Awesome food for the price. Killer blackberry shake and kids meals. Only complaint is that the Philly is on sliced beef rather than chopped, which makes it tough to eat without losing all the fillings. Tasted great though.
Definitely a must stop eatery! Top of the line burgers and milkshakes and the staff was more than friendly. The mushroom Swiss burger was incredible, the sweet potato fries were to die for. Will definitely be going back in the future!
Had a delightful experience. The food was phenomenal. The burgers were juicy, and the shakes were delicious.
Great burgers, great fries - glad we stopped. However the Capitol reef Inn is so awesome!!!!
Food was excellent and the portions large. The outdoor seating was nice and the woman taking our order friendly. Four stars because of the price. I know this restaurant is near a Natl. Park and the prices of meat are currently high but two burgers with fries, two medium drinks, a roast beef sandwich with a small salad and an oder of sweet potato fries came to $54.
This place is fast and delicious! Double cheeseburger and hot fudge Sunday was amazing!
Some dang good food! My son went here with scouts last year, remembered this place for their burgers, and said we needed to go! It was a pretty good bleu bacon burger! One recommendation - if theres a big line... go to their website (slackersburgerjoint.com ?), place your order there, pay for it, and then pick it up inside... ahead of everybody waitin in line!! Well done, Slackers!!
Had the Roast Beef sandwich and the meat was over cooked and dry. The best part of this place was the our door seating in the shade.
Really good burger and fries. Shakes are great too!
Slackers is a gem in a small town in a big desert landscape! When my sister and I visited, we managed to just beat the lunch rush. The lady who took our order was very pleasant and friendly. Our burgers came out with very little wait and were quite delicious! It was so good, we drove back there the next day from Capitol Reef for another meal. I had the Mushroom Bacon Swiss Burger both times. It was delicious! On the second day visit, the kitchen staff forgot to put the bacon and cheese on my sister’s sandwich, and when they did add the cheese, it was a cold slice so it wasn’t appetizing at all. But, we did get some ice cream that was pretty tasty. The decor is pretty neat. They have license plates from all different states attached to the ceiling and the bathrooms have fun, vintage signs as well. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. I would definitely come back here again if I am ever in the area.
The food is fabulous! Lives up to the DDD rating. It is a definite go to every time we are in Torrey!
I ordered the Attack Your Hunger burger and it is very fitting. It has 2 burger patties, grilled onions, blue cheese, bacon, and bbq sauce. I got onion rings on the side. I could go on, and in about how amazing everything is, but I dont want to blather on. If you want a delicious burger that is worth the money you spend? This is your spot!
I ordered 2 brownie hot fudge sundaes. When we got back to our cabin to enjoy them , we discovered that there were no brownies in them. Delicious hot fudge sundaes, but they would have been MUCH better with the brownies we paid for.
Great customer service and incredible food. Loved the fried cheesecake!
Slackers has been a favorite for many years. The pricing this year has gone way up!!! I'm not sure if this is due to Covid or not but I paid over $14 for a hamburger, frys, and a drink. It great food but at that price I may be looking for a new spot in Torrey.
Typical side-of-the-road burger joint. They need to improve their ordering process by putting the menu in the windows next to the line you stand in waiting to order. The only menus they have are at the window, so people spend a ton of time looking at the menu at the window. Things could be sped up much faster if there were menus available in the line. The ice cream cones are just soft serve, so nothing special. The outdoor seating area was nice and had a shaded trellis to block the sun.
The good: The shakes are delicious! The only reason to come to this place and why I give them 3 stars. The ugly: The burgers are obviously frozen patties, quite bad actually. The chicken was processed chicken, not fresh. I will not be ordering burgers here again.
Delicious food. Nice shady eating area.
Great burgers and shakes right on the side of the road
Great burgers and shakes. I've eaten here about 5 times and love the place.
Decent prices, tasty food and nice service. This place is definitely worth stopping by to grab something to eat. Excellent meat, good sides. Bun could be a bit better and I’d rate this place 5/5
The burgers were amazing! The shakes are filled almost over flowing. The owner was working the register and was super friendly. Actually everyone was super friendly. My kids loved the grilled cheese and fries. We have zero complaints and will go back every time we pass by.
Delicious fast food, large scoops of ice cream and a killer fried cheesecake dessert.
Great food, great shakes, small town feel and great service!
The food was hot and the burger juicy. Seating on the patio during CoVid-19. For being a small town there weren't many options, but this was a good one.
A fun tradition but a bit overpriced. Burger quality seems to be marginal. Great toppings and bun. We'll continue to eat here in the future but I'm not happy with the prices.
We had the homemade pulled pork. It was delicious. There were lots of people and we waited in line, but it was worth the wait. The best food I have eaten a long time. The employees are friendly and efficient.
Great variety of food, and a true fast-food joint! We were a party of 8 adults and 4 children, and all of us were impressed with the friendly, quick service and great food. It's a touch pricey, but considering it's a tourist area with Capitol Reef, it's understandable. We'll be coming back for sure. Their shakes are incredible!
Burgers were good, but there was no salt on the fries. When we asked for salt, the girl said they might have run out but she would look out back then went into a shed behind the building. She came out of the shed a few minutes later, but never came to give us the salt or tell us they ran out. They were also out of lemonade since Saturday. We were there on Tuesday. The dining room was closed so we had to eat outside. The outside trash can was overflowing and there were a lot of flies. There were also ants crawling on the tables.
If you're going to Capitol Reef National Park just do yourself a favor and plan on eating at Slackers. Their food is delicious. They have a fantastic selection of ice cream options for dessert. Portion sizes are generous. No one left hungry!
Fun place. If you are in Torrey you gave to stop for an ice cream
